Construction of two storey building
incorporating student union office together with
auditorium, large multipurpose area, retail outlets, bar
and cafe facilities with associated kitchen on the
ground floor. The buildings were fully fitted out and
Mechanical and Electrical Services, external works and
alterations to existing adjoining buildings all formed
part of the contract. The building has a reinforced
concrete frame with some load bearing walls; floor and
roof slabs are insitu concrete with a small area of
steel and decking.
